ABOUT KWC

We are a group of individuals from all ages and backgrounds.  We're not perfect, but we desire to become more like Christ daily.  We have great respect for those who are more mature in age, as well as a determination to minister to our children and youth - who we not only see as the church of tomorrow but the church of today.  To learn more about our mission, vision, & core values - check out OUR BULLSEYE

MORNING WORSHIP

Here's some things you might want to know about our morning services.
  • Most services last 60-70 minutes.
  • We like to lift up the name of Jesus through singing and you're welcome to join.  The words are provided on two large screens.  We've also provided a playlist for each week on Spotify that can be found on our homepage.
  • You will hear a biblically solid message that is easy to follow and aimed at helping us live the Jesus life.
  • You'll feel at home whether you dress casual or dress up.
  • We will not single you out.  We will, however, invite you to stop by The Connection Center for a FREE gift.
  • We have a nursery for children 3 and under that is staffed by someone who loves children and has gone through a screening process that involves a background check.
  • We provide a special service geared for children 4yrs-6th grade called KWC JR.  KWC JR has been designed to engage, encourage, & equip children to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.  From a special Bible lesson to songs that move the heart and the feet and more, kids will love it.  Children are dismissed to go with the KWC Jr leader and assistant after the first set of songs (or Communion). Parents are asked to pick up their children in Room 6 after the service.  Fifth Sundays of the month are Family Worship Sundays.
  • We usually celebrate Communion the first Sunday of the month.  This is a special time to remember the sacrifice that Christ made so that our sins can be forgiven and and we can be made new.  It also encourages us to continue to walk humbly before him in holiness.  Pre-packaged elements are available for all who choose to participate.

OUR LEADERS

The wesleyan church

Kingston Wesleyan is a part of The Great Lakes Region (Illinois, Michigan & Wisconsin) of The Wesleyan Church, an offshoot of the Methodist Movement began by John Wesley. Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
