WHY
- Provide a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience for a variety of ages in our community
- Better leverage and steward all that God has given KWC
- Establish a way to honor the memory of those in whose name memorials are given for years to come
WHAT
PHASE 1
- Gaga Pit
- 9 hole Disc Golf Course
- New Play-set
- New amenities
PHASE 2
- New basketball/pickleball court
PHASE 3
- Walking Trail
Phase 1 will be implemented using funds from recent Memorials.
The names for whom those funds were given will be placed on a perpetual plaque
where future honorees will also have their names commemorated.
Future memorial funds will be used to complete the other phases and provide continual improvement to the park.
As part of Phase 1, we'd like to eventually plant several trees to help create a better disc golf course
and make the "field" look more like a "park."
